James L. Johnson

    James L. Johnson, 75, retired carpenter, died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in his home in Kirkersville. He had been ill for two weeks.

    He was a native of Strasburg, Tuscarawas County, and the son of Joshua and Sabina (Cave) Johnson. His widow, Mrs. Emma Johnson, a son Rolland Johnson of near Kirkersville and a daughter, Mrs. Russell Wiswell of the Pataskala vicinity, survive; also two brothers, and one sister: Russell Johnson of Pasadena, Calif.; George Johnson and Mrs. Frank Gamble, both of the Thornville community.

    The body is at the H. Lee Emerson funeral home where services will be take place at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be made in the Kirkersville Cemetery.
