AUDREY C. JOHNSON

    Audrey Caroline Johnson, 69, of 713 W. Vine died today at 6:40 a.m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home, following an extended illness.

    She was born March 22, 1909, in Lima, the daughter of Clem Monroe and Margaret Wissel Albert. She married Carl J. Johnson, who died Nov. 21, 1974.

    Mrs. Johnson was a senior soldier with the Salvation Army and a member of its Home League. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and the Friendly Center.

    Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. L. R. (Margaret) Davis of 911 E. Vine St., Mrs. Dale R. (Wanda) Stemen of 940 Seriff Road, Mrs. Harley (Edna) Caskey of 718 W. Vine St., Mrs. Earl J. (Viola) Dawson Sr., of Cridersville; Mrs. Edward (Patricia) Caskey Sr. of 3863 Forest Drive, Linda Johnson of 3863 518 1/2 Linden St., and Mrs. Rodney (Goldie) Estes Sr., 1943 N. McDonel St.; and six sons, James E. Johnson of 1720 Burmuda Dr., Francis M. Johnson of 918 Merlin Ave., Gerald S. Johnson of 1717 E. Elm St., Charles R. Johnson of Cleves, Danny L. Johnson of 815 Franklin St., and Mark L. Johnson of 518 1/2 Linden St.; 44 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jess (Marcille) Lentz of Columbus Grove.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army Citadel, Captain Richard Gulley officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery.

    Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Siferd Main Street Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the Heart Fund.
