JAMES C. HULLINGER

    James C. Hullinger, 63, of 959 Bellefontaine Av., dropped dead in (a restaurant on Bellefontaine Ave. (missing line) which he was proprietor, at 9 a.m. Sunday. Now known as "Dick's Place," it was formerly called "The D. T. and I." Restaurant.

    Hullinger was a medical patient in Memorial Hospital from March 2 to 18. He had lived in Lima since 1911 and all that time had operated the restaurant. For the last six months, Clyde Dixon, formerly of the Lima police force, has been a partner in the establishment. The deceased was born in Allen Co., Ind.

    Surviving are his wife, Claudia Catherine, a daughter, and a brother. His daughter is Mrs. Goldie May Gabet, and his brother is Ira Hullinger, both of Ft. Wayne. Also surviving are three grandchildren.

    Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lewis Funeral Home by the Rev. E. J. Penhorwood. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will remain in the residence until time of service.
