Lillie Slusher Broughton

Lillie B. Slusher Broughton, died peacefully November 19, 2006. She lived the
past 6 years in Springboro, OH. She was previously of Pineville, KY, born in
Knox County, KY, July 27, 1931, daughter of the late Mathew and Clara Jackson
Slusher. She is preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Broughton Sr.,
February 5, 2004; her sisters, Oma Slusher Smith, Esline and Evelyn Slusher; and
her brothers, Rev. Donald Jay Slusher and Virgil Slusher. Lillie was survived by
3 children, Garrett Broughton Jr. and friend Norma of Springboro, OH, Ruth
Sparks and Clarence of Pineville, KY, Shirley M. Smith and Eddie Ray of
Pineville, KY; son-in-law, Leroy Hopkins and Kathaleen Rae; 13 grandchildren and
13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Goldie Peace and H.C. of Dayton, OH, Mollie
Tebalt and Johnny of Dayton; sister-in-law Carleen Slusher of Barborville, KY;
brother, O.V. Slusher and Gelinma of Barborville, KY and many family and
friends. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be November
22, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m.
at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd Street, Franklin, OH 45005. Burial will be
in Woodhill Cemetery. Dinner will follow at Lillie and Garrett's home.
