MIDDLESBORO - Glen Baker, 65, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, at Britthaven Nursing Home.

Born March 23, 1939, in Middlesboro, he was the son of the late Irvin and Maggie Mackin Baker. He believed in the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roscoe Baker, Robert Baker, John Baker; one sister, Virginia Marcum.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Walter Lee Baker, Middlesboro, Gary and Leona Baker, Middlesboro, Betty Sue and H. C. Rowlett, Middlesboro, Gracie Mae and Roy Robertson, Harrogate, Tenn., Charlotte Wallace, Apopka, Fla., Brenda and Ron Hyatt, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a host of nieces, nephews; and special friend, Benny Evans.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shumate Funeral Home with the Rev. Boyd Gray presiding. Music will be provided by Alva Cunningham.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gary Pete Baker, Gary Irvin Baker, Benny Evans, H.C. Rowlett, Rick Swin, and Charles Rowlett.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.. Wednesday at Shumate Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
