Norman Bair, Sr., age 38, of 38 1/2 Public Square, Lima, was shot and killed by his estranged wife, Dorothy Evans Bair.
Mr. Bair was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Delphos to John and Elizabeth Bair, and married Dorothy Evans on Feb. 22, 1946.
He was a World War II Veteran and a member of Delphos American Legion Post.
Survivors include his wife; mother; two sons, Norman, Jr. and John, at home; two daughters, Linda and Mary, at home; three brothers, Samuel of Troy, Michigan, Lewis of Indianapolis, Indiana, and John, address unknown; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Byrne of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Bertha Cain of Toledo, and Mrs. Irene Backus of Delphos.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Harter and Son Memorial Chapel, Delphos, with Rev. Warren J. Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
