The Upper Turkeyfoot transcription was made prior to the commencement of 
the USGenWeb Census Project and thus does not necessarily follow all the 
guidelines. 

It was originally done for posting on the Turkeyfoot Historian web site
[http://www.rootsweb.com/~pasomers/utfoot/index.html]. In the process of
integrating the 1850,1860,1870 and 1880 censuses and family trees
contributed by various people at the web site, some of the surnames in
the 1860 census were corrected as determined by these several sources.  
They are marked by an asterisk. Also you will find multiple entries and 
question marks in various places that reflect the lack of dependability of 
the data.
