Wedding at Vernon - Charles Harding and Miss Grace Burns Married - A Quiet Home Affair
The wedding of Charles A. Harding and Miss Grace J. Burns took place at the home of the bride's father, Supervisor John Burns, at Vernon last Wednesday. It was a quiet home affair and had been postponed on account of the death of Winnie Burns last month. Rev. C. E. Winning of Woodland officiated and the ceremony was followed by a sumptuous repast after which the happy couple took their departure for San Francisco on a wedding trip. On their return they will reside at Vernon. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. Burns and a lovely young woman with hosts of friends to wish her continued happiness with the man of her choice who is highly deserving of his fair bride. Mr. Harding is in the employ of the Bay Counties Power Company and is an industrious, genial young man of good address and universally popular. May they live long and prosper.
