WHITE-BURNS WEDDING - Well Known Young Couple Married in Sacramento Last Friday Evening Arthur H. White, the well known insurance agent, and Miss Alice Burns, daughter of Supervisor John Burns, were married last Friday evening in Sacramento. The wedding took place in the parlors of the Western Hotel, Rev. L. B. Hinman, formerly of Lincoln, officiating. Only a few relatives were present to witness the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. White went to Placer county this week and from there will go to Lake Tahoe to spend their honeymoon. Ellis Burns Buys the Vernon Store - Ellis Burns has purchased from his brother, LeRoy Burns, the Vernon Cash Store at that place and will conduct the business from now on. LeRoy Burns and family expect to spend the winter on their farm in Placer County. Article courtesy of Sharon Suckow
