14 May 1886 - Sutter County Farmer
Mr. W. A. Pinney and Miss Amanda Best were united in wedlock last Wednesday afternoon at the residence of the bride's uncle, Samuel Best, hear Harkey's corners in this county. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. E. Anderson, of Marysville. Mr. Pinney is a prosperous young farmer, and has exercised excellent judgement in his choice of a life companion. The happy couple were the recipients of many wedding presents. The FARMER boys were remembered, and received a bountiful supply of excellent cake. We congratulate the young couple and wish them a long and happy life. They took the south-bound train on Thursday morning for the bay city, where they will spend their honeymoon.
