Welcome to Santa Rosa, heart of California's wine country and home of Luther Burbank, Charles Schulz, Carmen Finley, and Sonoma State University. This page is dedicated to fellow family historians who share any of my lines. In 1994 I approached Sonoma State University at Rohnert Park, just a short seven miles away, to investigate the possibility of developing a system to house and display my research documents which had been accumulating since 1979. Two years later the system was sufficiently developed to expose it to the world. In December of 1996 the National Genealogical Society Computer Interest Group published an article describing our system.
That article won us a joint award in applied technology from GENTECH and Ancestry in January 1998. Next came an invitation from The Computer Genealogist to write an update on the sytem. This was published in March/April 1998.
I encourage anyone who shares any of my lines to contact me.
