Eleanor Campbell was born Apr. 27, 1828, in Nelson, Tioga Co., PA; d. in Farmington Twp., Tioga Co., PA Feb. 18, 1910. Married Jan. 9, 1848 to Malchia D. Bosard; b. Dec. 2, 18220, in PA (probably in Bosardville, Monroe Co.); d. Sep. 6, 1864, in Petersburg, VA from wounds during the battle at City Point. Malchia's parents were Andrew Bosard , born in Bosardville, and Nancy Hammond, born in CT.

Eleanor was the 4th of 12 children of Joseph Campbell, b. 1793 in N. Ireland or Scotland, d. 1864 in Nelson; and Ann Clinch, born 1804 in Gloucestershire, England, died 1872 in Nelson.

Malchia and Eleanor Campbell Bosard had three children:
    1. John Mahlon Bosard, b. Nov. 10, 1848, m. Jennie Crane;
    2. Laura J. Bosard, b. Apr. 10, 1851, m. Charles W. Mourey (sometimes 'Mowery'; and
    3. Anna Marie Bosard, b. Apr. 4, 1860, m. Andrew Owlett.
