pupils who attended Leipzig School

Opened in 1913 ~ closed in 1981
1913- One-room school
Built on Cologne St. and Heidleburg Ave.
1923- one room added
1926-Sisters of Notre Dame
arrived at Leipzig
1928- High School Grades
Taught in Convent
1960- Original School
sold and moved to Wilkie
1960- New Four-roomed school
built on Dresden Ave.
1963 - two more rooms were added

Erected by the
Leipzig History Society, 1999
