School District Map segment used with permissions. It was quite common for maps of the earlier pioneer era to be marked with two locations for one placename to demark the post office and the rail siding or the village (See Sheho on the map). The quartersection with the schoolhouse is marked with a red diamond except for McNab school district 5201 which was a later school district formed after this map was created. McNab school district 5201 schoolhouse is marked by a red school bus instead of a red diamond, the boundaries of the school disrtict for 5201 are not marked. Note that the schoolhouse serving Pedkowich SD 3164 is located outside of the school district boundaries to the west, it may be that there it served the needs of the majority of school children until McNabb SD 5201 was formed.
