This is Aisne school #3908, in 1952, my first day at school this is one the front steps left to right Barry Kazakoff (thats me), Judy Dubasov, John Bodnar.

There were 2 school teachers at Aisne school that I remember one was John Matacheck he was a grumpy old guy and he played the mandolin every morning and we all sang Oh Canada and of course he taught from grade 1 to grade 12 kinda like a handy teacher I guess, the next one after him was a Mrs Kinney she came to Kamsack from Birmingham England, she was stranded in her teacherage as she had no vehicle so she relied on neighbours to help her out, my father on a few occasions brought her to our house for dinner. She was a very strict teacher and she tore out half of the pages from my books because my writing was not perfect, any way just thought I would send you that info.

I am wondering if there is anyone out there that went to Aisne school between 1952-1957 I would be interested in hearing from you.
