SASKATCHEWAN AND ITS PEOPLE
1924

         PAUL PRINCE.  

         
   Battleford is proud to number among her native sons Paul Prince,
secretary-treasurer and manager of the B. Prince & Son, Limited, de-
partmental store. He was born on the 23d of February, 1897, a son of
the late Senator Benjamin and Ernestine (Brassard) Prince, extended
mention of whom is made on another page of this work.
  Paul Prince was educated in the Separate schools of Battleford and
later entered St. Boniface College of Winnipeg. In 1918 he put all per-
sonal interests aside and enlisted in the air force for service in the Great
war, and was stationed at Toronto for some time, but was called home
upon the death of his father. For some time prior to his father's death
Mr. Prince had had complete charge of the departmental store known as
B. Prince & Son, Limited, and he has since conducted the enterprise. He
is a young man of keen discrimination and ability and is sincerely devoted
to his duties as secretary-treasurer and manager of the store.  This es-
tablishment carries the largest stock in this part of the province and
occupies two floors and a basement. Mr. Prince also has extensive farm-
ing interests in this district.
  Since attaining his majority Mr. Prince has given his stanch support
to the Liberal party and the principles for which it stands.  He has
served as a member of the town council for the past four years and
fraternally is identified with the Knights of Columbus, of which he is
treasurer. He is a member of the Canadian Club and is interested in all
outdoor sports.  lIe spends a great deal of his spare time in playing
hockey, tennis and in curling. He is a membcr of the Great War Vete-
rans Association and his religious faith is that of the Catholic church.
   Mr. Prince is unmarried.
