RIGHT REV. MALCOLM TAYLOR MACADAM HARDING, D.D.
The Right Rev. Malcolm Taylor MacAdam Harding, D. D., has been Bishop of Qu'Appelle since 1911. He was born in Barkway, Hertfordshire, England, on the 20th of January, 1863, a son of John Richard and Jane Kilby (MacAdam) Harding. In the pursuit of his education Malcolm Taylor MacAdam Harding attended private boarding schools and in due time entered the City of London College. He likewise attended King's College at London and was ordained a deacon in the church in 1887. In the following year he was made a priest and he was curate at Mattawa, Ontario, in 1888; Brock ville, Ontario, 1889; St. Georges Cathedral, Kingston, 1890; and was rector and rural dean of Brandon, Manitoba, 1893-1903. He was created Archdeacon of Assiniboia in 1902 and consecrated Coadjutor Bishop of Qu'Appelle 1909 and became Bishop of Qu'Appelle in 1911. During the years of his residence here Bishop Harding has endeared himself to all and he stands high in the ministry. He has received the D. D. degree from St. John's College, Winnipeg, and St. Chad's College, of Regina, of which college he is chancellor. Bibliography follows:
