Julie Lagimodiere

Julie was surrounded by Catholic faith

Family members resembled a pisolith

All made a significant contribution

-Creating people with solid attribution.

Marie-Anne Gaboury taught Julie well

Priest of Maskinonge helped her excel

Marie-Anne taught wisdom not strife

She taught daughter Julie, faith for life.

Julie kept her values and judgment

Husband, Louis Riel was Heaven sent,

-Studying priesthood via Oblate Order.

Morals and leadership, not disorder.

Son Louis at the College of Montreal

Tache sent him for the priesthood call

He took what he needed and matured

Metis unrest and tribulations incurred.

Faith helped Julie as history unfolded

Battles tested to depths uncontrolled.

They were all in God’s hands she knew

He would stay with them without adieu.
