Perkins House Museum
Perkins House Museum

The Perkins House Museum is a Connecticut-style house constructed ca. 1766 by Simeon Perkins. It is part of the Nova Scotia Museum Collection. Simeon Perkins came from Norwich, Connecticut and was a merchant in Liverpool. He kept a detailed diary of his business and family life, providing a fascinating view of town life from 1766-1812. A copy of this diary is on view in the house. All genealogical data has been extracted from his diaries and is available in the Thomas Raddall Research Centre archives.
