A few like Cater (moved from T15 to T51) and some others where the Township and Range were swapped are major moves. The date has to be some time after 1917 as Canadian National is shown rather than Grand Trunk Pacific and Canadian Northern. I did leave the line from Regina to Saskatoon identified as "Pac." "Nat." (kind of funny). That line was built and first leased to Canadian Pacific, then transferred to Canadian Northern which then became Canadian National. Some spelling errors such as in T6 R29 W2 Molraney which is Mullrany. It appears that the rural Post Offices were not kept up to date when they closed, so if a certain date for the map could be found some Post Offices would not be on the map. For example in T49 R23 W3 Guestwick 1909-06-15 1915-03-31 Dee Valley 1916-07-14 1932-07-29 OPEN CLOSE Hope this version is a little easier to read. Larry Walton |
