Mrs. Ruth Claffey was born around 1814 in New Hampshire.  Her husband's first name is unknown.  She was a widow by 1880, occupation farmer, living in Sandwich (Carroll Co) NH.  
We are trying to determine which Claffey she married.

In the 1920's and 30's Peter Claffey (born @ 1860 in MA) and his wife Mary R. lived in Franklin (Merrimack Co.) NH with their children Elizabeth, Francis, and William.  Peter and Mary were born in MA and their parents were born in Ireland. 
Their children were all born in MA.  Peter worked as a spinner in a woolen mill.  Dorothy b 19 Feb 1908, d Jun 1985 was probably married to William.  Francis Claffey b 30 Jul 1896 d Mar 1979 worked for the railroad and lived in
Concord (Merrimack Co.) NH.  Peter Thomas Claffey was born 11 July in Pittsfield, MA and died in Franklin, NH on 9 Apr 1941, age 81.
