    Charles Claffey was born in Indiana @ 1858.  His father and mother were born in KY.  Charles was a carpenter who lived in Kibby, MT (Cascade Co.).  This seems to be the same person who was Indianapolis, IN in 1889.  I thought he was the son of Conrad and Louise Claffey who lived in Indianapolis, but they were born in Prussia, not KY.

    Caroline Goebler Claffey b 29 Aug 1858 in Indiana was divorced and living in Yellowstone Co. MT in 1920 with her daughter Lydia W. Claffey b @ 1897 and her son Ernest C. Claffey b. 9 Jun 1898.  Ernest married Ruby Alice Hulett Claffey.  Ernest died 10 Feb 1986 in Polson, MT (Lake Co).  Caroline and her son Ernest ran the family farm.  Caroline's father was Adam Goebler.  Also living in Yellowstone Co. MT at the same time was Adam C. Claffy (b @ 1893 in Indiana) and his wife Maude and baby daughter Shirley.
Was Adam another child of Caroline?
Was Caroline formerly married to the Charles above?

    In 1920 living in Missoula, MT (Missoula Co.) was Henry J. Claffey b @ 1884  in either Louisiana or Indiana.
