 Claffey Familiy in Lousiana

Following is preliminary data on Louisiana Claffey/Claffy families I am currently working on.  If you see a connection or can add or correct anything I would certainly appreciate your help.  Please email [email protected]
Thomas Claffey (b. @ 1819) died in New Orleans in 1857 and is buried there, along with his baby daughter who died in 1850.  In 1886 Mary Claffey, the widow of Thomas lived at 291 N. Poydras in New Orleans.
From 1860 to 1863, Thomas Claffey from New Orleans (a son of above?) studied at Notre Dame.  In March 1864 Thomas Claffey (b. @ 1839) died and in 1885 Mary Claffey of New Orleans, the mother of Thomas, filed for a Civil War pension from the Union.
In 1880 Mary Claffey, a widow b. @ 1825 in Ireland was living in New Orleans working as a housekeeper.   Living with her was her daughter Jennie (b. @ 1858 in New Orleans) who also worked as a housekeeper.  Two-year old Louisa Claffey lived with them.  Was Louisa the daughter of Jennie or Mary?
In 1870 William Claffey (b. @ 1835 in Ireland) was in New Orleans and by 1886 was a Longshoreman living at 38 Calliope.  Long ago
I read about a William Claffey who ruled the New Orleans docks with an iron hand, but I can't find the reference.  If you know of it,
please let me know.  In 1870 a son George was born to William and Maria Egan Claffey and in 1874 a son William (Jr.) was born to William and Maria Egan Claffey.  By the 1890's these two sons were working as laborers in New Orleans.  Maria Egan Claffey was born in Ireland @ 1848.  Maria's mother was Bridget Egan b. in Ireland @ 1820.  At least two other children were born to William and
Maria---Margaret b. @ 1877 and John K. Claffey b. @ 1879.
Another George Claffey (b. @ 1836 in Ireland) enlisted in Company A, 10th Louisiana Infantry in 1861 and on the same day John Claffey (b. @ 1838 in Ireland) enlisted in the same Company.  Were these two brothers?  John died
in Richmond VA hospital in 1862.

Patrick Claffey who served in the PA Infantry was in Louisiana in 1887 and filed a Civil War Invalid application there.  In 1890 he was living in (Webster Parish) where he had been Marshal from 1874 until 1876.  Who were his children?
Is the Patrick above the same Patrick who was born @ 1846 in PA and who lived in Minden (Webster Parish) in 1880 married to Laura E. Smith Claffey (the daughter of Cannon & Rebecca Smith).  The Smiths seem to have also had another daughter married to a Claffey.
In 1885 Rev. P. F. Claffey was assistant pastor at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  In 1886 he was at St. Mary's College in New Orleans.  Who were his parents?
.
In 1932 Frances Claffee was born in New Orleans to Frank J. Claffee (from Waterbury, CT) and Ila Leona Parks (from Laurel, MS).
Frances died in MS in 1958.  Who were her brothers and sisters?

Thomas J. Claffey was born @ 1886 in Louisiana and lived on Constance St. in New Orleans in 1920 with his mother Margaret, a
widow, born in Ireland, who came to USA in 1870.  A nephew, Willie Rigney, also lived with them.  Who was Margaret's husband and was her maiden name Rigney?
Bedelia Claffey (b. @ 1805  d. 1876) was married to John Crone.  In 1842 a son Edward was born to them in Louisiana.  Does anyone
know anything about Bedelia?
Who were the parents of James Claffey (b. @ 1851) who died in New Orleans in 1872?
.
The information above pertains to families that several people are currently researching.  If you have any additions or corrections, please email [email protected]. I have data on a number of other Claffeys and will be glad to check my records for anyone you are looking for.
