John Claffy was born in Iowa in 1853 and lived with the Howard family and worked on their farm in Liberty (Marshall Co.) around 1880.  He was not married and did not know where his parents were born.  Who were his parents?

Edward Claffey who died in WWI was born in Minneapolis, MN but considered Washington, Iowa (Washington Co.) his home town.  Need his parents' names.

The following Claffey family started out in Kings County (Offaly) Ireland, went to Canada around 1828, on to Lewis Co., NY around 1837 and at least three daughters moved to Iowa.  Am seeking any genealogy details on this family for several descendants.  I have
further data on members of this family who did not move to Iowa.
