Mary Hunt
April 29, 1931 - January 4, 2002
Mary Jane Hunt, a 46 year resident of Merced, died Jan. 4 at her home. She was
70.
She was born April 29, 1931, in Notthingham, Pa. She was an administrator with
Mercy Hospice for 18 years. She was a former member of the American Legion, the
Merced Woman's Club, and the Central Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sons, David Hunt of Patterson, James Hunt of Denair, and
Thomas Hunt of Redlands; her mother, Edythe Lewis of Denair; and five
grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Stratford Evans Funeral Chapel. A
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Central Presbyterian Church in
Merced.
The Rev. Dave McGurk will officiate. Interment will be private. Memorial
contributions may be made to Hospice of Emmanuel Medical Center of Turlock, 825
Delbon, Turlock, CA 95380.
