Elinor Janet Ellett, retired Planada School teacher went home to be with the Lord, April 21, 2011. For the past year she had been lovingly cared for at Anberry Rehab. Hospital, Atwater. CA. Family wishes to thank the staff and Dr. Jaipal Reddy.

Although born in Oakland, CA. Elinor grew up in neighboring Berkeley.

She graduated from Berkeley High School 1956. Her love of teaching took her to Ottawa, Kansas where she graduated from Ottawa University 1961.

Elinor was the daughter of Anna M. and John William Hind, both deceased as is her brother, John Holsall Hind, She is survived by her devoted sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Bill Scott, Merced. Also many nieces and nephews.

At her request there will be no funeral. In honor of Elinor's passion for animals donations to the Merced SPCA,1021 E. Childs Ave., Merced, CA 95340 appreciated.
