Saint Anne's in the Grove Southowram : Graveyards


The graveyard of St Anne's in the Grove Church, Southowram.

In the 1920s, the graveyard was full and was supported by voluntary subscriptions at the time.

The graveyard was extended and consecrated by Dr Eden, Bishop of Wakefield, on 9th June 1928.

After that date, burials in the 2 sections might be differentiated as old ground and new ground.

The Annexe to the graveyard is next to the National School.
