It stood to the south of the Chapel.
The School became too small and was enlarged in 1870.
In the storm of
22nd December 1894,
the front and a side wall of the School gave way and the building
became unsafe.
A new School was begun in May 1904.
This was designed by A. G. Dalzell and opened on Whit Tuesday
1905.
It was demolished in 19??
The School opened on 13th June 1905.
Cost £6,000
The Schools were considered among the very finest buildings of their
kind in Yorkshire
