and her husband
Charles Edwards Esq
of Darcey Hey, Near Halifax,
in the County of York
who died each after three days' illness
at Strathpeffer
the former September 17th 1842
aged 28
the latter September 19th 1842
aged 33
   
Lovely and comely in
their lives, in their deaths
they were not divided

For our dearest sister, Catherine, forever missed, and her husband, Charles Edwards, taken one day apart by a deadly fever, and buried far away in Contin, Scotland.

Catherine aged 29, Charles aged 34
