The houses in the foreground were Railway Terrace, and the railway bridge is in foreground and the back of Bank View / Spring Houses, then the recreation ground and the canal, Crossfield's Mill etc Burnley road with the now-demolished chapel and buildings, Furtex mill at the bottom of Danny lane on the far left. The building at the bottom-right was the garage for Helliwell's factory lorry
