The High Level Railway between Hopwood Lane and Gibbet Street

Sue Watson points out
The photograph was probably taken from somewhere around Riley's toffee works in Hopwood Lane looking towards Gibbet Street which runs across the centre of the photograph, and onwards to Hanson Lane and beyond.

The street on the right of the picture is Harrow Street, with Eton Street behind it.

Two landmarks in the background: the square tower of what was the Art School on Queens Road, and during my school days was the annexe for Ostler Secondary Modern school, and the 3 pinnacles of St Andrew's Church, Queens Road
