Pecket Well


Pecket Well is a village in Wadsworth, north of Hebden Bridge and on the road to Keighley, and is a part of the township of Wadsworth.

The name Becket's Well was used in the 19th century.

The name may be derived from Becket of Thomas à Becket.

Until 1998, there was still fustian manufacturing in Pecket Well Shed.
