Allan John Buckreus

I do not have an extensive biography on Allan, just a little background. I hope to add more at a later date.

Allan was born in Hartford, Wisconsin, moving to Indiana as a young boy. After serving in World War II, he graduated from Purdue University.

Like his father, Allan was employed in the hosiery business, holding a position in senior management. He is listed in the 1986 and 1988 editions of Dun & Bradstreet's "Principal Officers and Directors."

Physical activity has always been an important part of his life. He continues to be an avid golfer and skiier, not an insignificant accomplishment for a man of his years.

Like his predecessors, Allan enjoys working with wood. His creations are more modest in size than his grandfather's and great-grandfather's, however. As a hobby he makes furniture and doll houses rather than schools and churches.
