Elizabeth Barbara Buckreus

At the age of 44, Elizabeth married very late in life. Prior to her marriage, she was a housekeeper, and some people suggest it was a marriage of convenience. Her husband, Peter Casper, was a widower with at least two children. Little is known about him, other than he lived in Milwaukee prior to their marriage, and he was a butcher. At the time of her death, they resided in the community of Blodgett in the township of Brookfield. Lizzie died of tuberculosis, and was survived by her husband and two step-daughters.

I have not found any census records for Lizzie after 1870 or for her husband. Further research is needed. There are no known photographs.
