Elisabeth Zimmerle was born 23 Nov 1802 in Wilgartswiesen. (1)  She married George Matz and had five children all born in Wilgartswiesen.  She died 7 Apr 1855 at the age of 52. (2) Three of her brothers and one sister emigrated to the United States but she stayed in Wilgartswiesen.   Her brother, Philipp Jacob Zimmerly, died in Olney, IL in 1854 and his estate was distributed to all his siblings. (1) Birth record reads Elisabetha Catharina Zimmerle born on the 23. November, around 5 o'clock in the morning in Wilgartswiesen & baptized the following Sunday following  The father is Franz Zimmerle, the mother Catharina Elizabetha, with maiden name Zimmerle. Baptismal sponsors are:  Georg Adam Zimmerle  of Wilgartswiesen Elisabetha Catharina, legitimately married housewife of Johann Adam DauBmanns Maria Barbara, legitimate daughter of Philippp Jacob Zimmerle of Schlettenbach" ( her mother's sister)

 He left his estate to his five brothers and sisters. The estate identified the following as the heirs to the estate: George Philip Zimmerle, Philip (John P.) Zimmerle, Margaret Zimmerle Hauck, Catherine Zimmerle Doerr, and Elizabeth Zimmerle Metz.
