Millicene was not mentioned when John Smith gave bond to be guardian of the children of Henry Young. Since she did not need a guardian, it is assumed she was one of the older children. Order BK 19 page 250

"Millicent" is listed as married to John Richards in the 1762 lawsuit Smith Young brought against his siblings. Order Bk 24 pg 159 20/Sept/1762
Millicene Richards is listed on the 1783 tax list of Essex Co., VA
John Steward Chilton, husband of Milly's sister, Patty, named Milly Richards as guardian of his four daughters in his will of 2 Oct. 1786.
"Millicene had John Richards' will probated in Essex County Court (Virginia)
in 1773. He is believed to have
been a merchant in that area"

In the Name of God I john Richards of South Farnham Parish within County of
Essex being in perfect Sence and Memory do make my Last Will and Testament in
Manner and form following.
Imprimis I lend unto my beloved Wife Millicene Richards my Whole Estate to it of
what nature of kind soever after paying my Just Debts and funeral Expenses
during her Widowhood and of Which I desire my children may be maintained and
Educated but in case she should Marry I lend her only one third part thereof.
The Land to be laid off in three parts and she to have her first choice and the
other two thirds with the the two thirds of the Negroes to be deposed of for the
benefit of all my children in such manner as my Executors hereinafter named
shall think most convenient till the decease of my wife.
Item I give and bequeath unto my sons Henry, Richard, William & John Richards
and to their heirs forever at this decease of my wife all my land to be Equally
divided among them should die before a division I desire the part which would
have been alloted him or the sum may be equally divided among the (?) survivors.
Item I give unto each of my daughters Patty Young, Elizabeth Smith, and
Millicene Richards the sum of fifty pounds current money after the decease of my
wife, to be paid them as they come of Age or Mary but in case they or either of
them should die before that period I desire that no notice may be taken of this
legacy to her or their part thereof.
Item my part of my Fathers Estate now in the possession of his widow and
and will descend to me at her death, I desire may be equally divided among all
my children then living.
Item my Negroes and all the rest of my Estate to it of what nature or kind
soever I give to be Equally Divided at the decease of my wife among all my
children then living or their lawful issue and their heirs forever.
I desire that my sons as soon as they are of a proper age may be bound to trades
as my Executrix and Executor may think most convenient.
Lastly I appoint my beloved wife Executrix, my brother Russell Richards and my
Friends William Young and Smith Young Executors of this my will hereby revoking
all other by me heretofore made. In Testimony whereof I have here unto set
my hand and affixed my Seal this 12 th day of February 1773.
