August 21, 1750 the Estate of Henry Young is paying 12 pound, 15 shillings, 7 1/2 pence to John Smith for John Young's Estate.
The Tithables list of Essex Co., VA for the 1760's lists 8 slaves as belonging to "John Young's Estate".
In the lawsuit that Smith Young brings against his siblings which originated June 29,1754 Smith Young is claiming (and is awarded in 1762) his part of the slaves as "heir at law" to John Young.
It seems pretty certain that this John Young, son of Henry Young, died shortly after the death of his father.
