"Huguenot records in London show Jeanne Elizabeth and her husband, Pierre Videau, the son of Pierre Videau and Madelaine Burgaud, of La Rochelle, were naturalized in London April 9, 1685, six months prior to the repeal of the Edict of Nante.
Jeanne Elizabeth was baptized November 18, 1685. At some point in the next several years Pierre Videau and his wife and daughter came to Carolina."

Jeanne Elizabeth Videau was born in London.  All the rest were born in the Carolinas.

Some family trees have this Pierre Videau dying in 1701 but he was very much alive at the time of the marriage espousal of his daughter Jean Elizabeth Videau in 1702.  Peter Videau and Jane Elizabeth, his wife, are selling land in May of 1717 in Berkeley co., SC.  (Book O. pg 230 Bill of Sale) in which he mentions his son, Henry Joseph Videau.

Henry Videau in turn then sells some land mentioning that "Whereas Peter Videau died 12 Oct. 1728 & the 202 a. were inherited by Henry, now he conveys to Pagett."  see abstract below

Book O. p. 230 May 1717 Bill of Sale
"Peter (Pierre) Videau, planter, & Jane Elizabeth his wife, (& with her free consent), to Andrew Rembert, shoemaker, of Berkeley Co.,) for 25 pounds currency, 30 a.
