 When Rebecca Low Verbryck applied for a Revolutionary War Pension on the service of her husband, William Verbryck, they tore a page out of the family bible to prove the date of marriage of William and Rebecca. The above copy is of the back side of this torn document. We do not speak Dutch but this appears to say, "Year 1742 Aug 8 my daughter Nettie dies age 11" |

Many websites have attributed her to marrying Abraham Haring in 1760, but the evidence is pretty conclusive that this Jannetie Verbryck died in 1742.
