Sarah Talmadge was probably born in September of 1652 as she was baptized 19 Sep 1652. (1) She married Samuel Hotchkiss on 18 Mar 1678/9 when she was 27 years old. (2) Sarah's uncle, John Nash, performed the ceremony. (3) Their first child, Mary Hotchkiss, was born just a little over 9 months later on 1 Jan 1679/80. (4) That was just the beginning. Sarah birthed at least 7 children in 11 1/2 years. Her youngest, Enos Hotchkiss was baptized 5 Sep 1690. (5) And then she died and her husband remarried.
