Johann Michael Stoffel was born 30 Jul 1704. (1) He must have been a close friend of  Johann Jacob Müller who was born the same year.  The two men married on the same day, 21 Nov 1730, to each other's sisterss. (2)  Johann Michael Stoffel married  Maria Apollonia Müller and Johann Jacob Müller married Maria Elisabeth Stoffel.  Michael and Maria Apollonia had 10 children, but 7 of them died in childbirth.  In early 1759 all four of the parents died of typhus within a month of each other.  His wife Maria Apollonia Müller died 3 Jan 1759. (3) Johann Michael Stoffel, died four days later on 7 Jan 1759.  Hid brother-in-law, Johann Jacob Müller, died 24 Jan 1759 and his wife, Michael's sister, Maria Elisabeth Stoffel, died 2 Feb 1759.  (4)
