Erasmus Bell is listed in the Detroit, MI City directory of 1890 and 1891

He crossed the boarder from Canada to the United States twice in 1913
On March 16, 1913 he lists his birthplace as Leesborough, Ontario and his residence as Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada with a sister of Alice Maloy in Shalor Lake, Ontario and a son, John M Bell in Detroit at 203 Palister Ave.
On Mar 24, 1913 he again lists his residence as Owen Sound, Ontario and his sister Alice Maloy of Shalor Lake, Ontario

Agnes was married about the time of the death of her father.  She and her husband were living in Lockport, Niagra, New York in 1860 next to a Robert Shaw who was born about 1811 in Ireland.  The next year Agnes and her husband were in Peel, Wellington, Canada West, where her mother is listed as widow and with her are William Shaw, 18, John Shaw 16, David Shaw, 13 and Elizabeth Shaw, 10.  They soon moved to Teeswater, Ontario and are still there in 1881 as a family, her brothers and mother are not there.
