According to her husband's bible record, Ida Barents Ryder was born 15 Aug 1675. At the age of 20, she married Samuel Gerritsen on 14 Jun 1695. The bible record also reports that after 56 years of marriage his "honorable precious wife" Ida Ryder died on 12 Sep 1751.

"The 14th of June o.s. Anno 1695 on a Friday I Samuel Gerritsen married Yda Reyder."
"The 12th day of September o.s. 1751 my honorable precious wife Yda fell asleep in the Lord on a thursday about five o'clock in the morning aged about a month over five and seventy years and was brought to the earth on that Saturday. I Samuel Gerritsen and my wife Yda Ryder have lived in the matrimonial state six and fifty years and nearly three months."
