The marriage record of Johann Wilhelm Rummel to his first wife, Maria Margaretha Frolich, indicated that he was a linen weaver and that the name of his father was Jacob Rummel. (1) His death record indicated he was born about 8 Jan 1722. (2) He married his first wife, Maria Margaretha Frolich, on 2 Aug 1747 and she died in Walsheim on 16 May 1749. (3) Eight months later he married Maria Barbara Seubel on 16 Feb 1750. (4) They had five children, the last being born in 1755.  She died on 4 Feb 1756. (5)  Three months later he married Anna Barbara Mößler on 25 May 1756. (6) They had six children. Johann Wilhelm Rummel died 21 years later on 16 Nov 1777 in Hermersberg. (2) His widow, Anna Barbara, lived until 1808.
