The last Will and Testament of Mrs. Eliza Jane Tomlinson. In the name
of God Amen:
I Eliza Jane Tomlinson, being of sound mind & disposing memory, and considering,
the uncertainty of life & certainty of death, do thereby publish this my last
will & Testament hereby revoking all Wills heretofore made, I hereby give and
bequeath to my son, Benjamin Franklin Tomlinson a certain house and lot of
ground, lying and being in the city of Louisville, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on Buchanan street, three hundred and twenty eight
feet, North of the North West Corner of a twenty four foot alley, and
adjoining a lot sold and conveyed on the 24th day of September 1846
by Gray to H. T. Figg, thence with said street North fifty feet thense at right
angles with said street, the same width of fifty feet, back to the twenty feet
alley, adjoining the lot of I Smith, conveyed to the s'd Eliza Jane Tomlinson,
by Deed Recorded in Deed Book No. 85 Page 546 by Robert Ernst & wife. To Have
and to Hold the same after my death to him my s'd son Benjamin Franklin
Tomlinson, and to his heirs and assign forever. Witness, my hand and seal
this 31st day of March 1859.
