On May 1, 1814 when her father's will was written, Charlotte is referred to as Charlotte C. Pener. On Dec 5, 1821 in the settlement of her father's estate she is listed as Charlotte Bradburdy.
"John C Prnder died seized and possed of a large real estate, sufficient to
satisfy said judgment and costs, which has descended to John C Pender Jr Bethany
C Pender, Lewis C Pender and Charlotte Bradbury." Dec 5, 1821
The only Bradbury buying property on October 2i8, 1816 from the estate
inventory of John C. Pender is Bryan Bradbury. In Spring Term 1831
there is a law suit of Lewis C Pender etc vs James Bradbury, etc. This James
Bradbury may be a son of Charlotte,
In Fall Term 1816 three people were called as witnesses in the murder of John Coor Pender: Paul Pender, Polly Bradbury and Blake Jernigan vs David Jernigan over the murder of Sheriff John Coor Pender.
