Will of John Moore

.In the Name of God Amen the thirteenth Day of March in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and thirty five I John Moore of Woodbridge in the County of Middlesex Yeoman being very sick and weak in Body but of Perfect mind, and Memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die Do make and Ordain this my last will and Testament That is to say principally and first of all I give and Recommend my Soul unto the hands of God that gave it and for my Body I recommend it to the Earth to be Buried in a Christian like and devout mannor at the Discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall ? the same again by the mighty power of God And as to asking such Worldly Estate whosowith it has pleased God to bless unto me in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following mannor and form Imprimis I do order and it is my will that all my first and lawful debts is paid together with the funeral charges Item I give unto Mary my well beloved wife the use of my plantation towards the bring up my children an when the children are Capable to get their own living and likewise I give unto Mary my wife one third of my moveable Estate. Item I give unto Benjamin and Enoch and Samuel well beloved Sons twenty Shillings to Each of them. Item I give unto Daniel my well beloved Son fifty pounds to be paid out of my Estate to him and his Heirs and Assigns Item I give unto William my well beloved Son my dwelling House and the one half of my plantation where I now dwell that is to say the Eastern most part of my plantation to them their heirs and assigns. Item I give unto John my well beloved Son the other half of my Said plantation to him his heirs and assigns. Item I give to Rachel Mary and Hannah my well beloved Daughters twenty pounds to each of them to them and to their heirs and assigns Item I give to Deborah Sarah Elisabeth Hope Frances my well beloved Daughters twenty pounds to each of their heirs and assigns to be paid out of moveable Estate. Item I give to my Sons William & John my Salt Meadow in the Island in Rawway meadows to be equally divided between them in quantity and quality to them their heirs and assigns Item I do Order my Son Benjamin whom I do Constitute make and Ordain my Executor together with mary my Wife whom I likewise Ordain and Constitute to be my Executrix to Sell my Lott of Land that is on the North side by Peter Astons or bounded north on Peter Aston in order to pay the said legacy Item I do order my executors that if any of my daughters herein mentioned should not live to enjoy the said legacies that then the share of deceased to be equally divided amongst the survivors or daughters then living or to their issue and I do hereby utterly disalow revoke and disanul all other wills and testaments heretofore made ratifying and confirming and allowing this and no other to be my last will and testament.
