Jacobus says that Mary was probably the sister of George Lamberton's wife. George Lamberton's wife was Margaret Lewen.

Margaret was the daughter of Henry Lewen and Tancke Sage. She was baptized at St Katherine by Tower Church. She married (1) George Lamberton on 6 January 1628/29 in St. Mary's Whitecchapel, London, England. They moved to America, where he was one of the original founders of the Colony of New Haven. He was allotted land in block 7 and owned over 266 acres. They had 7 children-Elizabeth, Hannah, Hope, Deliverance, Mercy, Desire and Obedience. Margaret married (2) Stephen Goodyear about 1647 and they had three children: Andrew, John and Esther.
