On April 15, 1635, Thomas Kilbourne, aged 55, with wife Frances aged 50, and children, Margaret, aged 23; Lydia, aged 22; Marie, aged 16; Frances, aged 12, and Joseph, aged 10, embarked from London, for New England, on the ship "Increase."
According to the findagrave writeup, he was killed by Indians five years after he moved to the New World.
On 25 Feb 1640/1 his widow, Frances, had books valued at £2 and eight parcels of land at Wethersfield. His house was on a 3 acre lot. In addition he had owned several pieces of land in the Great Meadow: 8 acres, 3 acres and 5 acres. Another lot of 56 acres was in the Great West Field. There is also a listing for 2 acres in the Beaver Meadow and 180 acres on the east side of the Connecticut River.
