Other information came from a bible record.  A copy of this bible was found in the Sullivan County Library, Indiana.  As shown above, in it is stated, "John Hopewell was my grandfather."  Immediately following is " John Hopewell was born Feb 23 1816  John Hopewell Died July 10th 1901."  We are assuming this John Hopewell was the grandson of the Revolutionary John Hopewell.

There appears to have been a Hattie Hopewell, daughter to John Hopewell.  She married John Nagle  October 4, 1883 and had a daughter named Sally born  June 8th 1884
